St. Angela rink rebuild a huge success!

Wow!  We replaced all the wood on a 30 year old hockey rink in 9 hours!  Thank you volunteers!

Volunteer Hours

Demolition: Friday 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, 8 people.

Construction: Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, averaged about 14 people/hr, peaked at 20 early afternoon.

Total volunteer hours: about 110 person-hours.

By the Numbers

600 linear feet of horizontal boards with 344 bolted connections.

640 vertical boards with over 3200 wood screws.

Close to $6,000 of materials.
