Wanted - volunteers to help co-ordinate soccer in Silverwood

Sean and Darcy, our current soccer co-ordinators in Silverwood Heights, are on their last year co-ordinating soccer in Silverwood Heights. We are looking for volunteers that would be willing to either help out this year and/or to take on this job in future years.

This position works with Saskatoon Youth Soccer, Hollandia, the community association, and the co-ordinators in our neighbouring community associations to plan and offer soccer programming for players aged 3-10. We also set up registrations, make teams, find coaches, ensure equipment is available and cared for. While two people have been co-ordinating in Silverwood for some time, some community associations have one person, others have the duties split out between as many as 6 people. It is a great and rewarding volunteer opportunity, not only to support sport in our community, and to get to know other dedicated volunteers in our community, but to meet and work with a variety of people around the city. 

Because Sean and Darcy are committed to co-ordinating the 2016/2017 season it is an ideal time to train replacements.
