BJM - Second Annual Green Day - Thur May 30
The students and staff of Bishop James Mahoney Catholic School are eager to launch our Second Annual Green Day on Thursday, May 30 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 2:30 P.M!
With excited anticipation, we invite you to join our community. The day consists of a drive-thru Recycling and Redirecting Depot. Green Displays from local businesses, career and educational opportunities, a carnival for the kids with free hot dogs and drinks, plus lots more!
On site will be Loraas Recycling, Cosmo Industries, Habitat for Humanity, SARCAN, Bikes for Humanity, Salvation Army and Crocus Co-Op with on-site information booths supporting our Green Day Initiative. We will also be supporting SaskTel Pioneers Computers for Schools, Oskayak High School, and St Francis Elementary School. Here’s the list of items that we will accept: Good quality clothing for all ages, coats, work boots, and running shoes, good quality household goods, electronics (for reuse and recycle), computers, disposable dry-cell batteries, and even used adult mountain bikes. Please join us! Stop by, drop off and stay awhile!
