Online Registration Postponed due to bug with our PayPal Merchant Account Integration

Due to circumstances beyond our control regarding our banking system, SHCA online registration will be postponed until Wednesday,  January 9 at 7:00 pm. We were really excited to show you our even more improved online registration system, version 2.0... However, as you may or may not know, the SHCA is using PayPal (a different account type than the personal PayPal account you may be familiar with) as the bank that processes the money that we generate through online credit card sales. PayPal recently made a large update to it's banking engine (computer integration) that we use, unbeknownst to us, had a large flaw in it that was not compatible to how we were processing payments with it last fall.

As such, we are not able to process credit card transactions at this time and must postpone registration. We tried to fix it up until the last minute and our entire team is working on it and discussing options with PayPal.

We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause as we know some of you may have changed plans to accommodate registration.

If it cannot be resolved by Wednesday night, we will offer online registration and accept cheques only (of course the processing fee will be waived this session), as this will still be much more convenient than in-person registration.
