10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at the SaskTel Sports Center 150 Nelson Road, Saskatoon SK

All ages Welcome. Attendance is FREE! - Over 40 different local sport, recreation, and health related groups

The S.S.C. is a non-profit, volunteer-directed organization incorporated under the non-profit act of the Government of Saskatchewan. We receive lottery funding through SaskSport Inc. as an affiliate member serving and representing the local Saskatoon sport community.

The Mission of the Saskatoon Sports Council is to:

Facilitate community development and coordinate networks with the aim of enhancing access to the benefit of sport in Saskatoon for all. The Vision of the Saskatoon Sports Council is to: Empower Saskatoon communities in delivering sustainable sport opportunities.

Strategic Plan: In partnership with an external organization the Saskatoon Sports Council recently conducted a strategy assessment to determine how we as an organization can play a more significant role in the Saskatoon sport community.  Based on the strategy assessment the Saskatoon Sports Council Board of Directors’ have decided to focus on the following:

Goal 1 - To administer the affairs of the council to ensure it is responsive to the needs of its members.

Goal 2 - To create an environment that delivers sustainable community sport development.

Goal 3 - To facilitate and increase awareness of community sport.
